Chicken Inasal is one of the top classic dishes Filipinos love. They can enjoy this almost daily with unlimited helpings of white rice. There are hundreds of restaurants that serve mainly Chicken Inasal, like Mang Inasal which can be found all over the country. Other Filipino restaurants also have their versions of Inasal. If you’re in Manila, it’s very easy to get a plate of this grilled chicken dish. But sometimes, I can’t just help but wonder: isn’t it best to enjoy Chicken Inasal right where it’s from? Bacolod City is just a 1-hour flight away from Manila, and it’s home to the best Inasal in the country.

One of the most important things when enjoying Inasal is the dipping sauce. You can’t get the same kind of sauce here in Manila even though the ingredients are readily available. It’s one of the things that really elevated the dish.
