The Better Filipino Monggo Stew Recipe

Monggo stew is a classic Filipino comfort food. Sitting down to a full bowl of it after a long day warms both the heart and the stomach. But Filipino food isn't really known to be healthy, what with all the fat, the sugar, and the salt. I decided to make a healthier version of Monggo stew, which is actually one of the healthier ingredients found in Filipino cooking, so that you still get the nutrients, the satisfaction, and the flavor with none of the guilt.
