Grilled Chicken Breast with Charred Bok Choi and Mangoes with a Soy dressing

Blurred steam rising off the ground. Pavement singed by the sun. Drops of cold sweat on an ice cold bottle. Heat, hot, laboured breathing. Sweet burned mangoes. Smoky Chicken and bright charred greens. Summer, at a gallop with every step. Lazy days and stunning rays.

There’s my food haiku for you haha!

This is a healthy barbecue recipe without the need of a thick and sickly sweet barbecue sauce.

Hey Erwan, just curious I noticed that you were using the same chopping board all through out your process. Do you every worry about cross contamination?

I love the sound of charred bok choy! I wish I had an outdoor grill…or even just an outdoors (I live in a flat)! The whole dish sounds delicious…and yes, so summery :)

you really inspire and help me a lot. I live here in Sg and mostly I cook ordinary fry and some steam veggie and salad bcoz of my busy schedule. I don’t eat pork and I’m allergic to some sea foods and I’m not really a good cook. I learned how to cook from the Internet when we move here. Thank GOD I found your website. It’s not just tasty but healthy as well and the best part is its easy and don’t eat much of my time(“,)

about THE FAT KID

I gained weight because of a sedentary lifestyle and overly indulging in foods I knew were bad for me, eating out too often, taking the easy route (microwavable dishes) and not caring what went in my body, before I knew it reached 240 lbs. I lost weight through pure dedication, tireless hours of hard work and yes, food. I cooked my way to fitness, making sure to only feed myself tasty well prepared dishes with all the right stuff, the perfect fuel, taking me down to 150lbs. Of course I indulge from time to time, as the fat kid still lurks inside of me; here you will find a little bit of everything for the sole purpose of sharing my passion for food and life.
