Ham, White Cheese and Kale Sandwich
I’ve reiterated so many times why i’m such a fan of good, well balanced sandwich, there is just something about the convenience of the vessel paired with the different layers of flavours you can build between two buns.
Here is a quick, delicious, seared white cheese and greens salad that is sure to hit the spot. Perfect for a post workout meals to give you adequate amounts of carbs, protein and fat.
Recipe is quite straight forward, use what you need per sandwich. Watch the video and you’ll get it!
What i used:
2 handfuls of kales mixed in with juice of 1 lemon, juice of 1 orange, salt and pepper. Crushed and wilted.
Take a pan, bring to medium high, place in a tbsp of olive oil, fry off 2 pieces of white cheese (kesong puti). Turn when brown. Grill the bread until toasted.
Place the cheese on the bread, season, add cayenne pepper, some ham and the kale.
